Drumstick Flower
AU$375.00Price
This a tiny flower, painted over-size. It came from a Nepean Conebush, which is a tree native to this part of the NSW coast. Drumsticks is the name the flower is known by, but it’s rare to find. It does look like a bunch of drumsticks, but its other name is also apt – the structure of the tiny bloom has a distinct resemblance to a pine cone with its spiralling form. Despite its miniscule size, it had a soft fluffy texture that seemed so lovely to paint.
